SONORA PASS

Preparing for my journey to my favorite destination, I wait in anticipation for the seasons to change bringing hope of the journey commencing.

Sonora Pass, Kennedy Meadows and the surrounding areas offer such magnifcent beauty which the eye can hardly take in, unless you travel there and experience it for yourself, step onto the grounds, breathe in the air and become completely overwhelmed with the beauty glory which God has made. I am blessed to have been raised there in my youth and grow up running throughout the mountains with minimal tourism. As time has passed, sadly the Sierras have increasingly overrun and disrespected, mainly Pinecrest Lake. I recently visited and was saddened to see trash, swarms of tourist, boom boxes....... uhg. Although there are many place to hike far into the Sierras to silence the noise. Nothing wrong with tourism, just the lack of respect.

I am currently preparing my new truck camper for the journey. More to follow.
