Loss of Sight

Currently Scout and I are on hold concerning our adventures. My co-pilot Scout has suddenly lost her eyesight. She was diagnosed as having SARDS.

We are training her to navigate her surrounding and use of our outdoor gear, and adjusting to a new truck camper.

Found a quote from dog owner Daniel Weissauer that strengthened me dealing with Scout.

Daniel describes living with his dog Wonder, also blind (after Stevie Wonder), “It’s always dark out for Wonder. So no matter what time it is, there are no excuses for me.” For many reasons, this touched me deeply. Please keep us in your prayers!
